First Aid Courses

This unit of competency provides the skills to recognise and manage a person who is in cardiac arrest. This training will certify you to:

• Provide CPR life support
• Management of a casualty and,
• Management of an incident and other first aiders until the arrival of medical assistance

This unit of competency provides the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life threatening emergencies. This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other First Aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

Materials and certificates issued by National First Aid (RTO No 3981)

This unit is to acquire competency in providing First Aid in a variety of scenarios and is the course prescribed by the WorkSafe Compliance Code – First Aid in the Workplace.

The knowledge, skills and confidence gained will enable you to provide a basic first aid response, emergency life support, management of casualties, the incident and other first aiders until help arrives.

Annual Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) refresher is recommended.

This unit of competency provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults.

During this course you will be provided with the skills to provide first aid, perform CPR an all three dummy types and gain skills in Asthma and Anaphylaxis management.
